The lithium iron phosphate battery stands out as the most secure high energy density battery within the lithium-ion battery range. It maintains a consistent discharge voltage, typically at 3.2 V. Towards the end of its discharge cycle (primarily when only 10% capacity remains), the voltage experiences a rapid decline and typically reaches a cut-off point of 2.5 V. Temperature, especially when it drops, has a notable impact on the discharge capacity of the lithium iron phosphate battery. At -20 ℃, the discharge capacity reduces to 45% of the regular temperature capacity, whereas at -10 ℃, it reaches 65% and at -5 ℃, 80% of the normal temperature capacity. Remarkably, at 0 ℃, the discharge capacity remains at 90% of the normal temperature capacity, with only minimal changes observed between 0 ℃ and 20 ℃. In comparison to lead-acid batteries, the low-temperature performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries proves superior.
